Job Description
Job Profile :-
Iron Ore and Manganese Ore procurement. Responsible for quality, availability & cost of Raw Materials. Responsible for sources development for mining / procurement of Refractory Raw Materials. This area includes of interaction with Vendor, selection of best material, keep vigil on market price trend, prepare comparative statement on landed price of different offer, issue of purchase order, represent in government tender(OMC), making advances, opening of LC etc.
Logistic Management(Rail & Surface transport). This area includes selection of transporter, negotiation of freight, issue of work order, indenting of rake, planning of rake loading, bill passing, preparing of railway freight, maintaining balance between the best economic logistic option for material dispatch from different site.
Coordination with Government Agencies. This area includes liasioning with a.) Mining Office for mining permission, Trading/storage License, MDCC and monthly return.
Railways for CBT, setup of private siding, rake allotment, Indenting, make application for reimbursement of excess freight and demurrage etc.
Commercial Function: This includes passing of vendor & transporter bill as per purchase order and work order, issue of debit/credit note, preparing vendor outstanding statement, reconciliation of vendor/transporter’s account and stock.
