Job Description
1.Responsible for Jatropha plantation in the area assigned to him as per the Target set by the Company and verification and monitoring of Plantations for the implementation of various agronomic practices such as - Land Preparation , Soil working , application of Fertilizer & Gap Filling .
2.Responsible for GPS Mapping in the area assigned to him.
3.Responsible for planting good sapling in the Nursery and uprooting of the same before plantation .
4. Logistics planning (in the territory assigned) for saplings, seeds and manures.
5.Close Monitoring & supervision of field activity expenses, travel expenses, nursery expenses, MKP commission, and reporting to Zonal Head.
6.Responsible for booking of CFA and Collection of CFA advance .
7.Imparting training on technical knowhow for various related agronomy practices to F.A, N.A & M.K.Ps.
8.Planned visit to farms and regular discussion with the field staffs on on going operational activities
9.Co ordination of seed procurement activities, ensuring seed procurement targets are met as per deadlines and company policies.
10.Conducting surveys to understand farmer needs & convince them for CFA booking
11.Liaising with Department of Agriculture for promoting products & organizing farmer education programmers
12.Verification and Submission of Travel Claims from FAs
13.Meeting farmers and communicating Company objectives with the help of the field staff
14.Conducting Farmer / MKP meeting and Field demonstrations at Districts level
15.Conducting weekly progress meeting to FAs &Monitor the Fields and suggest appropriate measure for improvements
